What Restick does

Restick is an Android app that exports your favorite TikTok stickers into WhatsApp sticker packs. Restick is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, WhatsApp or Meta.

Signing in to TikTok

• To read your favorites, you sign in to TikTok inside the app, on TikTok's own page. If you choose Google, Facebook, Apple or the TikTok app, sign-in happens on their pages or in their app.
• Your password and any codes you enter go directly to that service. Restick does not read or store them.
• Afterwards, TikTok leaves a session cookie on the phone. Restick keeps it in the app's private storage and sends it only to TikTok, to request the list of your favorite stickers.
• What you do on TikTok's pages and those services is governed by their own privacy policies.

Your stickers

• Restick downloads your favorite stickers from TikTok's image servers, without sending them your session, and converts them on the phone.
• The converted stickers, the packs and their state are stored only in the app's private storage.
• They are shared with WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business only when you tap "Add to WhatsApp" or "Update in WhatsApp", and only the packs you choose.

Ads

Restick shows ads from Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's SDK collects and sends to Google data such as:

• the device's advertising ID and other app and device identifiers;
• the IP address, from which an approximate location is inferred;
• how you interact with ads (for example, whether you view or tap them);
• technical and diagnostic data, such as the phone model, the Android version and SDK errors.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, Restick first asks whether you accept personalized ads, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings (Ajustes) > Ads (Anuncios). In any country you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Google > Ads).

Notifications

If you allow it, Restick shows the export's progress and result on the phone. These notifications are created on the phone itself; nothing is sent to any server to show them.

What Restick does not do

• It has no servers of its own and does not ask you to create an account.
• It does not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or messages.
• It does not sell your data or share it with anyone, except what Google's ads SDK sends to Google, described above.

Retention and deletion

• Log out («Cerrar sesión», in Ajustes) deletes the TikTok session and the app's browsing data. Your packs are kept.
• Uninstalling Restick deletes all of its data from the phone, including the packs. Once uninstalled, its packs are no longer available in WhatsApp either.
• Data collected by Google for ads is governed by Google's policy.

Security

All of Restick's connections use HTTPS with certificate verification. The app's data is kept in its private storage, which other apps cannot access. WhatsApp can only read, and only the prepared packs.

Children

Restick is not directed to children under 13, the minimum age for a TikTok account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
